The Titanic was nicknamed the “Ship of Dreams” before it set sail for New York in 1912. It was an historic ship even before it became one of history’s iconic moments. This week's program is devoted to the 100th anniversary of that remarkable and tragic time. Kristin Farley and Tearsa Smith take a trip to the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge to learn about the ship, and the people who survived or lost their lives when it sunk. Kristin and Tearsa talk to the founder of the museum, a real-life historian and explorer, who was among the first to visit the remains at the bottom of the ocean. And of course, they tour the museum to learn about the ship's architecture, the history of the sinking, the artifacts that were recovered, and the blockbuster movie that retold the story.
